“Reaching out for help can feel intimidating. I am glad that you are taking this step to seek out support and take care of yourself.”
Creating a space for open expression is fundamental to healing. In therapy, I aim to foster a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere for you to freely share. This is an opportunity to explore your challenges, connect with your feelings, process your trauma, and build meaningful connections.
I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families to address struggles such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, stress management, and cross-cultural issues. Using a trauma-informed approach, I strive to create a safe and collaborative environment, with the understanding of how trauma can underlie various mental health issues. By exploring the root causes of symptoms, we work towards a more comprehensive and lasting healing.
My approach is integrative, engaging individuals to learn adaptive coping strategies and embrace the best version of themselves. My theoretical orientation is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I’m passionate about exploring the impact of thoughts on emotions and behaviors, challenging negative self-talk, and cultivating skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
On this personal journey, we will gain insights into your strengths and explore ways to overcome your challenges. I would be honored to help you navigate in the direction of your values and goals.
Who I work with:
I work with adults, children, couples, and families who are dealing with depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and life transitions. I am also dedicated to assisting immigrants and international students in navigating adjustments to American culture. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey of healing, change, and growth.

“Therapy helps us to connect more deeply with ourselves and with others…it helps us to heal, to grow, and to find a positive way forward.”
Therapy helps us to connect more deeply with ourselves and with others. It offers us a space to reflect on what we’ve been through and where we’re going, who we are and who we’re becoming. It is a journey of self-exploration that helps us to heal, to grow, and to find a positive way forward.
I am here to accept you as you are, to be real with you, and to walk with you toward a more authentic and rewarding life. My presence is warm and calm, and my approach to therapy is humanistic, meaning that, above all else, I value building a genuine, human connection with you. It is through the comfort and safety of this connection that we will gently untangle the knots that you carry inside you, freeing you to move forward in ways that feel true and right for you. Along the way, I will help you to deepen your self-awareness, make space for your emotions, and feel more at peace with who you are and how you fit into this world. I believe in a conversational style of therapy that is flexible and holistic, and where your own intuition serves as our primary compass.
Meeting with a therapist can feel like a big and vulnerable step, because it is. Most who take the step, however, find it to be meaningful and well worth it. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lonely, or feeling the sting of old wounds, you don’t have to carry it alone. I look forward to supporting you in every way I can.
Who I Work With
I am passionate about working with adults of all genders who are seeking help with depression, anxiety, self-identity, trauma, life transitions, and existential concerns (more often than not, these issues are intertwined). My added lens as a man also gives me a nuanced understanding of the unique mental health challenges that men face in today’s world.
With respect to couples therapy, I tend to work with pre-marital and newlywed couples who are looking to improve their communication, deepen their emotional connection, and/or navigate a life transition.

“Everyone deserves to feel a sense of belonging.”
Living in our fast-paced society, I know how easy it can be to lose touch with ourselves and others. As a relational therapist, I believe people hold an innate desire to connect and relate to others in an effort to feel a sense of belonging, and I understand how impactful it can be when these connections become strained. These strains can cause a ripple effect to our sense of self, leading to feelings of loneliness, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and fatigue. I am drawn to work that supports individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan facing difficulties with addressing relationship challenges, grief & loss, depression, sexuality, life transitions, and trauma.
I understand the feelings of helplessness that can come with facing these stressors and aim to provide you with a gentle space when getting to know the story of who you are.
Change can occur at any stage of life. Through our work together, I hope to provide you with a sense of belonging by welcoming you with empathy, curiosity, and honesty as we work collaboratively to address and alleviate the challenges you have been facing.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves…Live the questions now. Perhaps you will gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.” -Rainer Maria Rilke
Life can be a tumultuous yet beautiful process of healing your mind, body, and soul. It is about holding space for your emotions, thoughts and sensations, allowing yourself to follow those different signals on your path to wholeness. I believe therapy can provide the opportunity to explore your path to healing and can serve as a reminder that you are not alone in this journey of life.
As we begin this process together, I use a therapeutic approach that ensures you are the expert in your own life. I work collaboratively with you to explore a variety of techniques and holistic approaches to create a safe space that incorporates your specific needs. Adhering to a client and person-centered approach ensures an empathic and supportive environment without judgment for you to feel heard and understood. Together we will work to cope with the uncertainties of life, understand how past experiences shape our thoughts, and build trust to safely process traumatic experiences and maladaptive behaviors. I aim to support you in cultivating your purpose and meaning in life through examining your unique worldview, learning your story, and encouraging greater self-awareness, whether individually or through maintaining relationships. Together we will discover the tools and positive coping skills needed in order to find your joy and authentic happiness in life.
I graduated from Rosemont College with my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also received a post-baccalaureate certificate in Applied Positive Psychology with the University of Pennsylvania.

“While facing the struggles in life can feel overwhelming, you don’t have to do it alone.”
Therapy gives us the space to discover ourselves, embrace and overcome life’s challenges, and connect with the world around us in positive ways. It’s an opportunity to reflect on our stories, fully experience the present, and shape what is to come. I’m here to accept, support, and empower you in this journey of personal healing and growth.
Blending trust, warmth, and accountability, I aim to create a safe and nonjudgmental space to honor your unique needs and help you work towards your better life. I believe in the importance of a strong client-therapist relationship grounded in understanding, acceptance, and empathy. My integrative approach draws from concepts of attachment theory, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), existential theory, Gottman methods, and Imago therapy. We may work to repair past wounds, enhance self-understanding, develop coping strategies, practice communication skills, or strengthen emotional connections. As a first-generation Chinese American, I also bring an empathic understanding of cross-cultural and identity development issues. Through a holistic and trauma-informed lens, I strive to comprehend your life experiences and the environmental factors that play a role in your mental health and wellbeing.
I’m passionate about working with individuals and couples hoping to overcome challenges with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationships. Together, we will engage in a collaborative experience tailored specifically to you and your goals. While facing the struggles in life can feel overwhelming, you don’t have to do it alone.
I am currently a student at Villanova University, pursuing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.

“Each of us is unique in how we are shaped by our environments and how we show up in our relationships.”
I work with individuals and couples who have been experiencing difficulties with relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, and grief. In therapy, I want to provide a space to help you make choices that can lead to feeling more fulfilled in your life and in your relationships. Empathy, compassion, and connection are integral in the therapeutic setting, and it would be my honor to be a part of your journey of self-discovery and healing.
I take a systemic, strengths-based approach to the therapeutic process recognizing that your story is unique and fits within a societal, systemic framework. I will listen to your story with empathy, help you identify and clarify patterns, and work with you to create a future that best suits you. We will look at the symptoms of an issue and focus on how to create solutions while uncovering and healing the root cause of the problem. This is how we will bring understanding to the challenges that have led to you feeling stuck or hopeless. I understand how scary making a change can be. Doing what’s best for us often isn’t easy but together we can chart a course that is personally meaningful for you.

“I offer a collaborative space where individuals and families can build upon their resiliency and cope with whatever stressors that life has presented.”
I am passionate about working with individuals and couples across the lifespan from adolescence to older adults with a range of experiences including substance abuse, body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Working from a trauma-informed lens, I view therapy as a collaborative effort where individuals and couples can identify their strengths and cope with their problems more effectively.
I recognize that every person and couple have their own unique history and set of concerns. I want to meet you where you are in your journey as a partner in self-discovery and change. Frameworks that I utilize include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and a Person-Centered foundation. As a trained EMDR therapist, I want to help clients process trauma and life disrupting events to lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives. The first step I take as a therapist is creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment for individuals and couples to tap into their inner resources to overcome their challenges.
Therapy is a powerful resource when a major crisis occurs as well as for those who are doing well and are seeking to learn more about themselves. I believe individuals and couples inherently have the capacity to gain self-awareness and implement positive changes if the conditions are present to promote growth. It would be my pleasure to help you discover your strengths and be a part of your journey of health and healing.
Who I Work With
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples who are seeking to overcome challenges with substance use, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. I focus on helping you identify and take steps that integrate your values into your life. I know the emotional pain that can come from living with these stressors, so I work to create a safe, warm, and empathetic space where you can begin the healing process.

“I believe in therapy as a real and honest conversation at the core, where your voice needs to be heard, respected, and affirmed.”
I work with individuals who are, or have, experienced the effects of anxiety, panic, depression, mood disorders, various life adjustments, different levels of ability, and systemic oppression. I want to understand how these experiences have impacted you, and as a therapist, I’m here to support you as you work through the outcomes of those pivotal moments. I studied a modernized psychodynamic approach to therapy which allows me to work with you to understand your ‘big picture.’ Our work, together, will aim to examine and address that ‘big picture’ in a way that is manageable to you.
I believe in therapy as a real and honest conversation at the core, where your voice needs to be heard, respected, and affirmed. My personal goal is to always provide my clients with a space where they feel safe and supported to express themselves, free of judgment, bias, and prejudice. Through my training as a person-centered therapist, I actively strive to meet you where you are in life, and I believe that your own insight is the most valuable tool we have in creating a successful therapeutic experience.
Focus Areas
I work with adults, couples, queer individuals, and families that are working through aspects of trauma, grief, life adjustments and overarching anxieties that can result from such challenging experiences. My goal is to provide a safe space as we collaborate to identify the steps to enact the changes you want to see. I recognize just how difficult starting the counseling process can be, so I want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, and I look forward to working with you!

“Sharing your struggles makes room for a restorative connection that allows others to understand your journey. While it may seem intimidating, it can also be liberating.”
Multiple factors can affect an individual’s overall well-being, including relationships, life experiences, physical health, cultural values, and intergenerational issues. As a psychotherapist, I appreciate the intricate connection between these parts of our lives and their relationship to our mental health. Depending on the circumstances, symptoms related to our mental well-being may appear gradually or without warning. Individuals may struggle with overwhelming thoughts, maintaining relationships, emotional regulation, and impulse control. These symptoms are even linked to how the body handles difficult emotions. Unresolved emotions can disguise themselves as physical issues like muscle tension, exhaustion, and chronic health issues. Depending on the symptoms, I know how powerless it can feel and how challenging it is to reach out for help. Sharing your struggles makes room for a restorative connection that allows others to understand your journey. While it may seem intimidating, it can also be liberating.
My identity as a first-generation Indian American and my past advocacy work in women’s healthcare and education have strongly influenced my practice. I am drawn to the power of human connection and resilience, which provides a foundation for a curious and integrative framework. With individuals or couples, I work towards understanding how their layers, complexities, and developmental years have shaped them. I want to get to know you and how you got here. Creating an empathetic and safe space allows clients to identify how emotional wounds and physical manifestations have resulted in harmful thoughts, patterns, or behaviors. With a deep interest in cultural nuances and developmental milestones, I strive to increase awareness and provide skills for resilience and healing. Together, we can begin a transformative process that honors you and leads to holistic well-being.
Who I work with:
I offer psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, and couples, focusing on anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and addictive behaviors. These challenges often lead to isolation and difficulties expressing needs, especially when rooted in developmental trauma. My approach is humanistic, holistic, and trauma informed. I believe in honoring your experiences and adapting my role to the needs of each individual and couple.
