I value the investment of your time and vulnerability in seeking therapy, and I aim to bring my authentic self to meet you where you are. In the therapy room, I strive to create a space for you to feel safe and comfortable exploring knowing yourself better- unpacking questions, issues, or needs that have felt stuck and confusing.

My approach blends direct, yet thoughtful communication, my own humorous personality, and life experiences coupled with my systemic training to help guide you in achieving your goals. I believe that therapy can be a fun working space rather than stiff, stereotypical and impersonal! I aim to bring a fresh mindset to the idea of therapy that doesn’t censor your self-expression; whether that be style, language, or thought processes.

I enjoy working with couples who are looking to reconnect emotionally, resolve painful conflict, or strengthen their bond to create lasting change in their relationships.

When working with individuals I aim to skyrocket self-confidence, improve boundaries (or create them from scratch), and understand unhealthy patterns in your life while working to change them to create strong connections with yourself- and ultimately others in your life. I can appreciate what comes with overwhelming life-transitions, anxiety & depression, executive dysfunction, or struggling to make sense of your world.

Sometimes adult family members may need guidance to bring more harmony and understanding to their relationships. Whether it be a parent-child, sibling, or any mix of family members, I work to restructure communication and interactions to benefit all.

I aim to honor your experiences and support you by implementing techniques to promote healing, conflict resolution, and a strong sense of self. Together we can tackle improving boundaries, intimacy, identifying dysfunctional patterns, coping skills, and improving interpersonal skills to serve you in all areas of your life.

I am passionate about helping families and couples build secure and resilient relationships that last generations. When working with couples, I take an emotionally focused approach while integrating Gottman principles to help clients strengthen their foundation. Emotionally focused techniques help clients develop secure connections in their relationships through emotional exploration and regulation. Gottman techniques assist couples in nurturing intimacy and connection to strengthen their relationship. I believe in a collaborative approach where we work together to discover your strengths and find individualized solutions for you and your goals.

I provide a space for individuals and their families to feel safe, heard, and empowered to be themselves. Together, we can work through your concerns and foster a connection with your community. I approach your concerns from a structural, systemic lens, recognizing how the relationships between you, your family, and your community intertwine because we are the culmination of our experiences with others. My goal is to collaborate with you to uncover the tools you possess to create long-lasting, generational changes that extend to secure, supportive relationships within your community.

I attend National University, pursuing my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I am refining the tools that support clients in their journey toward resilience and connection.

For over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals, couples and families at all stages of their lives. I’m passionate about helping my clients better understand themselves and their relationships, so they can live a fulfilling life unburdened by shame, fear, and feelings of unworthiness.

I love to help couples rediscover their friendship and intimacy, and to break down whatever walls have built between them. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Gottman Method Couples therapy, to help couples create connection and understanding. I also enjoy working with individuals who find themselves struggling with areas of their lives, whether it be navigating relationships, managing stress and anxiety, finding purpose, processing trauma, or adjusting to life transitions.

As a trauma-informed, relational therapist, I’m a big believer that we are shaped by our relationships and experiences. It is a privilege to witness my client’s stories and to be a part of their journey toward achieving deeper connection and understanding of themselves and their world.

Who I work with:

I primarily work with adult individuals who are looking to understand and heal from early childhood trauma or adverse life experiences. I help my clients to understand the different parts of themselves, moving toward gaining more perspective and clarity. I enjoy supporting my individual clients to increase feelings of purpose, self- worth and confidence. I work with couples who are experiencing feelings of disconnection, frustration with gridlocked conflict, or struggling to process infidelity or other betrayals.

To me, healing can only occur in a space where you feel seen and understood. I strive to bring my full self to the therapy room in order to create an atmosphere that feels warm and supportive to you. My main goal when we work together is that at some point, you won’t need to come see me anymore because you will feel empowered to enact change in your life.

Your treatment journey will be unique, which is why we will discuss your goals and collaborate on a plan to help you achieve these goals within your value system. I incorporate evidence-based treatments and psychoeducation in session to allow my clients to learn more about themselves and what healthy mental health will look like for them. So far in my studies, I have had the opportunity to receive prestigious training from the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I enjoy employing CBT and motivational interviewing techniques to help change thoughts and behaviors, bringing you more in line with the life you hope to lead.
