Therapy, at its best, goes beyond managing symptoms. It creates space for a person to experience themselves, their relationships, and their life in a different and more connected way. I work with individuals, couples, and adolescents (15+) who are often capable, thoughtful, and self-aware. From the outside, their lives may look stable and well organized, yet internally they may feel overwhelmed, tense, or disconnected. Many have spent a long time trying to understand their difficulties on their own and feel frustrated that insight has not led to change. In our work, we gradually identify the patterns that shape these experiences. Anxiety, perfectionism, emotional distance, and relationship struggles often follow consistent ways of thinking and responding. When these patterns become clearer, it becomes possible to approach them differently and create changes that feel steady and sustainable rather than temporary.

I am particularly attentive to clients going through life transitions, including immigration, identity shifts, and periods of uncertainty. These experiences often carry a quiet emotional weight that is not always visible to others.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and informed by attachment-based perspectives. It is structured yet flexible — combining clarity, depth, and practical application. I offer a space that is thoughtful, direct, and respectful. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, so the work is shaped around each client’s needs, pace, and goals. Over time, this supports greater awareness, emotional resilience, and the ability to respond differently to internal experiences.

This is a focused and intentional process for people who are ready to engage with themselves more deeply.

“Healing begins when your story is met with compassion, understanding, and curiosity.”

With over 10 years of experience in the social services field, I provide a compassionate, thoughtful space for healing and growth. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, supporting clients as they navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and relationship dynamics.

I deeply believe in therapy’s power as a space where people can share their stories, explore different perspectives, and feel heard without judgement. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, meaning we work together to explore your experiences, build insight, and create meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for a new direction, I am here to support you in developing healthier coping strategies, strengthening relationships, and moving toward the life you envision.

As a Black woman, I understand how intersectionality, culture, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I value creating a space where clients feel safe bringing their full, authentic selves into the room. I am open-minded and affirming of people from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, as well as individuals across the spectrum of gender identity, sexuality, and relationship dynamics. I welcome working with clients exploring non-traditional or unconventional ways of being. My goal is to provide a respectful, supportive environment, where your identity, experiences and values are honored.

I look forward to learning more about you and supporting you on your path to growth, success, and healing!

“Healing means that our memories and disturbances from the past do not define us anymore and we become the observers of those memories, so they no longer control our life”

For over a decade, I have been supporting individuals, families and couples. You might be experiencing stressful moments as a new parent, a conflictual relationship with your partner, issues with self-esteem or emotional regulation, feelings of loneliness and unworthiness, or difficulties dealing with traumatic memories. It’s hard to deal with all this in isolation. The good news is that there’s help and I’m here to support you in feeling better.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe everyone has a unique history rooted in their family of origin. Individuals constantly recreate unresolved issues in their family of origin which leads them to get stuck in negative and unhealthy patterns of interactions. I will help you gain insight into those patterns and guide you to make changes.

As an immigrant who left her country and decided to take a risk and start her life in a new place, I understand the complexities of cultural differences in families and communities, and work with my clients to create space to discuss and embrace these differences. In addition, I am bilingual; fluent in Arabic and English. I have provided therapy in both Lebanon and in The United States.

Who I work with:

I work with adult individuals as well as couples. I work in collaboration with you, we discuss your goals and set a plan to achieve them.

Individual Therapy As an EMDR therapist I work with adults who struggle with traumatic experiences, low self esteem, depression, anxiety and difficulties maintaining healthy relationships. We work together to identify past memories that are continuously causing pain and I help you process them to get them unstuck so they no longer have a detrimental effect on various aspects of your life.

I also work with moms that struggle with perinatal mood disorder including depression and anxiety that occur during pregnancy and within a year of delivery. I use evidenced based approaches that are rooted in trauma informed care including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help moms feel better and feel like themselves again.

Couples Therapy

As a Gottman Trained Therapist, my role is to assist couples in overcoming the roadblocks that have led them to become gridlocked in their relationship. I facilitate a deeper understanding of the patterns and dynamics at play within the relationship, all while fostering an environment that avoids blame. During sessions, we explore effective communication strategies aimed at transitioning from a state of gridlock to productive conversation. My goal is to empower couples to enhance and strengthen their relationship by building a solid foundation rooted in mutual respect and understanding.

“Every individual and relationship is unique and deserves the opportunity to feel supported through therapy.”

My aim is to assist you in navigating, processing, and better understanding yourself. As a systematically trained therapist, I believe our relationships offer a crucial opportunity for personal growth. Helping clients foster self-love and strengthen their relationships is a goal I bring to the therapy space. Love, to me, is a multifaceted process. It involves turning towards one another, connecting, miscommunicating, and repairing, while also finding a deeper connection within us and with each other.

Who I work with:

I work with a diverse range of clients, but I especially enjoy working with couples.

Individual Therapy

I work with individuals presenting with trauma, addiction, self-esteem issues, infidelity, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I believe in working collaboratively to empower you to take an active role in your own growth and healing journey and to create a change in your life that provides happiness and fulfillment.

Asking for help can sometimes be uncomfortable, but I will be here every step of the way. I use my authentic self and real-world experiences together with my clinical training in the therapy room to help you reach your goals. We work together to explore thoughts and feelings on current or past hardships, learn coping skills to foster a more balanced mindset and manage difficult feelings such as anxiety and sadness.

Couples Therapy

I enjoy working with couples to help them navigate the complexities of their relationships. I help provide couples with tools to address communication issues, resolve conflicts, and enhance intimacy. As an LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, kink/BDSM-affirming, and poly-friendly therapist, I provide a safe space and welcoming environment for clients of all identities and relationship styles. In my approach, I value collaboration, direct communication, curiosity, and honesty. I believe that fostering healthy communication is essential for deepening connections and enhancing intimacy within relationships. I also believe in the importance of challenging our thought patterns and creating space for accepting our partner’s perspectives. By doing so, we foster healthier relationships and become more open to each other’s influence.

Together, we will navigate life’s uncertainties, promote healthy communication, and build trust to address and heal from traumatic experiences.
