“Life has a way of presenting us with challenges and moments of profound self-reflection.”
Life has a way of presenting us with challenges and moments of profound self-reflection. It is during these times that we often seek guidance and support, and I am here, with an open heart, to walk beside you on this meaningful journey of healing and growth. You are the author of your own narrative, and it would be my privilege to be a co-author, helping you find your way through the chapters that may feel unclear or challenging. Your journey is uniquely yours, and together, we will explore the path that leads to renewed balance, inner strength, and a greater sense of well-being.
Please know that you are not alone in your experiences, and your feelings and struggles are valid. I am here to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can share, reflect, and grow.
A Holistic Approach to Your Well-being In recognizing your individuality, I’ve embraced an eclectic approach to therapy. Drawing from mindfulness, relational-cultural, and psychodynamic techniques, my aim is to provide you with a personalized roadmap to healing and self-discovery. Together, we will weave these approaches into a tapestry that suits your specific needs, aspirations, and challenges.
From Athletics to Counseling: A Passion Unveiled
My own journey, as an athlete and coach, has provided me with a profound appreciation for personal growth and resilience. Coaching players from diverse backgrounds offered me unique insights into the human experience, both on and off the court. It was through these experiences that my passion for counseling blossomed.
Collaboration
You are the protagonist of your story, and my role is to be your collaborator, your guide in exploring ways to restore balance and amplify your innate strengths. Together, we’ll navigate the chapters of your life, fostering clarity, resilience, and empowerment. My ultimate goal is to equip you with the tools and confidence to craft a life that reflects your values and goals.
Who I Work With
Coming from Caribbean heritage, I particularly like working with immigrants and expats integrating into American culture, perhaps struggling with identity, and navigating adjustments. I also extend a warm welcome to individuals and couples from all walks of life, regardless of where you stand in your journey. Whether we’re delving into your past, illuminating your present, or charting a course for your future goals, I’m here for you. Your relationships are an integral part of our exploration.
You don’t have to navigate life alone. I invite you to reach out, take that courageous step, and let’s begin this transformative journey together.

“Getting in touch with your identity, body, and your unfiltered self, helps us to identify and honor your needs in a way that works for you.”
Therapy is a space to get to know and make friends with yourself through a collaborative and supportive relationship. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families across various life stages in addressing body-mind connection, family dynamics, life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, and queer issues. My passion lies not just in understanding your story but in walking with you on a journey of genuine self-discovery and acceptance.
I aim to create a safe and personalized space that suits your unique needs. I take a holistic approach to health, considering the interconnectedness of your body, mind, and environment. I specialize in working with queer issues and identities as well as exploring the mind-body connection through somatic therapy practices. Getting in touch with your identity, your body, and your unfiltered self, helps us to identify and honor your needs in a way that works for you.
My therapeutic style combines person-centered, somatic and mindfulness approaches, and psychodynamic principles, ensuring our sessions are open to whatever arises, all with a purposeful focus. I firmly believe in the significance of emotions and their functions and that getting to know them deeply helps to build safety and love within ourselves while learning valuable tools for navigating life’s challenges.
I invite you to empower yourself toward a fulfilled and authentic life by starting where you are at with openness and curiosity.
Who I Work With:
I work with adolescents, adult individuals, couples, and families to address issues related to family dynamics, mind-body connection, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, and queer issues. Together, we will pursue a path of greater insight, self-love, and healing.

“Our work will help serve in bringing more agency to your life and relationships.”
Here is how I can support you: Through our conversation, drawing on my training and asking pertinent questions, we will work together to identify areas where you feel stuck and develop manageable steps towards relieving your symptoms. Our work will help serve in bringing more agency to your life and relationships.
I help clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, feelings of being stuck/lack of motivation, existential questions of life, the impact of feeling othered or misunderstood. My focus is on helping individuals recognize and effectively communicate their needs to initiate positive change in their lives. Additionally, I address and understand emotions from a place of curiosity and empowerment. My approach is casual, and I often recommend supplementary resources such as books or podcasts to further support clients.
I operate from a values-based perspective rather than a moralistic one and apply a compassionate and inquisitive outlook informed by my education and professional training. I graduated from an LGBTQ-affirming psychology graduate program in Los Angeles and completed an internship in narrative therapy at a community practice. Over the past 5 years of practice on the east coast, I have honed my skills in both individual and relationship therapy. I work with adult individuals who are dating or not, couples that are monogamous, married and open relationships, ethically non monogamous relationships, folks who identify as polyamorous, people who are dating, people who are A romantic, folks who are A sexual and clients not interested in long term relationships but are focusing on the relationship to themselves, their work, friends or community.
Who I work with:
The people I work with are, and will always be, the experts on their lives and experience. They have tried their hardest to figure out how to fight the Problem, before they ask for more support. I believe the Problem is the Problem, the client is never the problem.

“We are not meant to walk alone through this life, and I am honored to be able to be with people as they navigate this life experience.”
You are taking a big step in looking for support today. Whether you are feeling alone, overwhelmed, down or disconnected as you move through the world, I am here to provide a safe, nurturing place for us to explore and grow. I believe in providing a space that is free from judgement, bias and supports you where you are at while recognizing diversity with an understating of the intersectionality faced in society today. As a member of the LGBTQIA community and with a colorful and eventful journey in life so far, I find that my love of people, cultures and differences knows no bounds.
We will work together through traditional talk therapy and incorporate some mark making (art), yoga, writing and storytelling to assist you in knowing yourself better, navigating transitions, addressing trauma, chronic illness, mental health, and the stressors of being in this world to provide you with more knowledge and skills to facilitate healing.
I have been working with people for the last 28 years in many different aspects including waitressing, elementary, middle school, and university teaching, professional artist, coaching and in the last 8 years as a therapist. My work over that time as included providing support for people that have suffered human and natural caused disasters through community art therapy in addition to providing thousands of hours of therapy to individuals and couples.
In working with couples, we will together explore ways to improve communication, walk through how to process differences and come up with plans that will assist you in deeper understanding and connection. We will walk through transitions and learn how to strengthen your relationship at any stage.
I believe there is no greater cause than showing up for yourself and investing the time and resources to enhance your life experience and relationships both with self and others.
Who I Work With:
Adult individuals and couples through a trauma trained and informed lens.
Assisting LGBTQIA people in navigating their journey and creating a safe space to explore themselves and their journey.
Guiding couples through conflict resolution, life transitions and building a stronger couple.
Joining with folks that are experiencing chronic illness and loss facilitating acknowledgment and processing of old ways of being and new ways of being.
Walking with people who identify as ADHD or Autism and assisting in creating a life that works for your brain type.
Individual Therapy
It is really a gift to be able to work with people through therapy and see them grow, understand themselves better, recognize strengths and learn to apply those strengths to other aspects of their lives. With humor and grace, we together will learn and grow in understanding you and how you move through the world, navigate challenges and changes and find a caring and loving relationship with yourself. I believe that you know what you need better than anyone and once we discover this, we will come up with a plan and skills to assist you in overcoming and getting you in a place where you feel stronger and have the skills to enhance your life.
Couples Therapy
Relationships are one of the most valuable experiences we have in this life and one of the places we can experience the most frustration and expansion. If you are challenged with feeling like – “we just can’t communicate”, how do we “de-escalate when we have a disagreement” or “how do we handle transitions” and are ready to learn some skills that can build better communication, de-escalation, and help you remain strong even when you have different opinions then you are in the right place. Through working with couples and implementing the Gottman training I have received, I have found couples are able to communicate better, have more peace and understanding and grow stronger.
